One of my favorite techniques for glossy paper is resist. All you have to do is use a resist pad (versamark or ranger clear resist) and heat set it. It will come off clear. To apply color you can use anything from a brayer to daubers (what I used). I daubed the four colors on in a circular motion to make the colors (the challenge colors) more blended. Once dry, I used my Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad and stamped more Magenta Dragonflies. This pad is definitely my all time favorite. Not only can I use copic markers with it, but it becomes permanent once dry or heat set. It’s a jack of all applications.
Next I matted the glossy cardstock on Bashful Blue CS from SU, then put the panel on Old Olive CS from SU. I finished if off by stamping my sentiment ‘Dream the Impossible’ (from Hobby Lobby) on So Saffron CS in Not Quite Navy. I then matted that panel on Whisper White Cardstock. SO yummy! My last step was to add some bling from Michaels.
Enjoy!
Ely

Hi Elyssa,
A friend of mine just introduced me to your blog....you designs are beautiful!! I also have a Nixon D40 (my Christmas present from my hubby). I'm still in the works of trying to figure out everything with it...but I love it!
