Life is Not a Matter...

Does your stamping desk (or kitchen table, or floor) ever look like it is covered in a mountain of cr*p? Well today mine did. Instead of cleaning it up and throwing stuff away, I decided to challenge myself to make a card TOTALLY out of scraps. It was actually harder than I thought.

I wish I could tell you where every piece of paper is from, but due to the glory of my self-made challenge, I can’t. I know for sure that the card base is Rose Red, stamped by the Jeans CHF Backgrounder in Rose Red. It is VERY subtle, but it gives a great texture to the paper.

The main sentiment is from one of my all time favorite birthday sets ‘It’s Your Birthday’ from Stampin’ Up. It is stamped in Not Quite Navy.

The rest are scraps!!!

I have been totally stressing about the LSAT as it is in 2 weeks, so far so good, but it is taking time out of stamping so I was thrilled to have time to set down and do this card!

Hope you enjoy,

Elyssa

Wonderful card ~ especially for something made from scraps ~ I can't do that even when I don't use scraps...

I was wondering if you would give a bit of advice about Copic. I'm in the process of getting some of the Sketch ones & I was wondering what you would recommend? Did you buy the sets? Or did you hand pick the colors? Are there ones that are 'easier' to use? Dark vs. Light... anything else you can think of, I'd love to hear!

Great job with your challege! I need to do something like that as my desk ALWAYS has a ton of stuff all over it! I usually only ever have a couple inches square working space at any given time! lol!
