Friends are the family you choose yourself!

Every release I challenge myself to make a No Layer Card. It's sort of like a supply cleansing, just me, stamps, ink and a piece of white cardstock. While I am the first person to love busy cards (did you see my Rock Star card?), I think getting down to the bare bones of this hobby is just as special. So, I bring you this card. It's simple. It's chic. It's Taken with Teal, Rose Red and Elegant Eggplant. It's Little Paper Shop.

This set is aptly named 'Friends' and is a total classic. I especially love the sentiment, which totally speaks to this college girl who is 6 hours away from her family.

Happy Stamping!
Elyssa

PS.
Tomorrow is the big release for LPS so make sure to check it out! Also Monday starts my Hanna Stamps previews which are (if I do say so myself) GORGEOUS!!!

That is a great idea for a self-challenge. ALL I do is LAYER LAYER LAYER, so I may just have to try this! Thanks for sharing that idea and technique!

empty, simple, whatever you wanna call it, but for me it was eye candy.(BTW... this things are so difficult to do without making them boring. you just need to find balance. this certainy does. balance, for me, has always been harder. i always find what i do being unbalanced. thanks for the great inspiration
