An Update.

I've stopped stamping.

GASP!

I'm not sure when exactly it happened. But it has. Between law school and traveling I just lost my passion. I am still trying to find creativity in everyday things and to do something creative daily, but I just don't find myself reaching for my ink pad.

I haven't updated this because I thought that would make it too final. I thought I would start stamping again. I don't mean to sound melodramatic, after all it is arts and crafts, but it was such a big part of my life for so long.

I want to thank each and everyone of you who has come to visit this blog, who has commented, who has shared a little bit of yourself with me, I am forever grateful for that. Your passion for this hobby truly inspires me and I am sorry that I am no longer able to bring that inspiration back for you.

Don't worry. It will come back to you somday. You are just in another phase of your life. You are no longer that teenager. Good luck in your new adventures, and thanks for sharing your artwork and spreading your knowledge.

You've got more exciting things to do in your life now. But you will be back eventually - maybe when you retire!! Good luck in your life.

Elyssa,
I'm sorry you feel this way but trust me, someday when life settles down you will still have your talent and it will be waiting for you until you are ready again. We all go thru phases and this is just one of many: it is called life! Good luck in your studies and in your future.

All the posts so far speak exactly what I was going to say. Don't want you to read the same thing over and over so just focus on whats going on in your life now, make that priority one, eventually the artist in you will creep out. ; )

Ditto, to what the others said.
Take care, and best of luck in your future!

I've stopped once, but never threw anything away, and I came back... see my blog and my room... (there will be more stuff soon, including a slideshow with my room and storage stuff)...

And i LOVE it... stamping is versatile, not just crafting, but art... but you can make it art, the stamp itself, is notthing more than a print in rubber...

Ok, now I see y. :-) At least when you have birthdays, etc. You know you can make a card, you have the talent. I too lost my passion for it. Now that my divorce is almost over and I have learned to love me again, I'm back doing what I love. Life takes it's turns but you'll always return to your passions. It may be 20 yrs from now.
